About Darlington Raceway

Darlington Raceway is a 1.366-mile asphalt oval on Harry Byrd Highway in Darlington, nicknamed the track Too Tough to Tame, and the site calls it NASCAR's first true superspeedway. It holds two NASCAR weekends a year, including the Southern 500 on Labor Day weekend, and the property includes a stock car museum.

We offer free daily event parking for passenger vehicles and motorcycles. Paid upgrade parking in the Pole Position lot, Brasington Parking lot, Too Tough To Tame Tailgate and Turn 2 Parking lot; overnight parking (camping) in designated RV and tent lots. Free ADA lot at Gate 39B off Harry Byrd Hwy / Hwy 151, first come first served, state ADA plate or tag required.

Not a clear-bag venue: one backpack per person (maximum 18x18x14) or clutch/fanny pack (maximum 4.5×6.5), plus one soft-sided cooler (maximum 14x14x14); sealed food and drink allowed, no glass; foam or hard coolers, umbrellas and collapsible chairs prohibited.
