What This Page Is For
Use it to: see how much South Carolina attractions and parks tell you before you leave home, which kinds of places are most forthcoming, and which publish everything.
Where the figures come from: 95 places named in our guides: 36 attractions, museums, gardens and trails, and 59 state parks and national park sites, each checked on its own official site (recorded in our attractions and places datasets, read on or before October 26, 2026). A basic counts only where the operator published it.

No rows match.
Method
- Four basics: admission price, opening hours, parking (cost or arrangements) and a dog or pet policy. A stroller rule is not scored because none of the state park pages publish one (our state parks dataset records that), so this index is not directly comparable with our sister site’s five-basics index for Georgia.
- Price: a page that only shows a dynamic, date-based ticket calendar counts as not published.
- Parks and parking: state and national park pages publish per-person admission and no parking information, so parks score no on parking. That is the finding, not a gap in our reading.
- Re-checked when the underlying datasets are refreshed; each row carries its date.
