About Memorial Stadium (Clemson)

Memorial Stadium, known as Death Valley, is Clemson University's football stadium on the Avenue of Champions in Clemson; it opened on Sept. 19, 1942 with 20,000 seats and has been expanded many times since. The playing surface is named for coach Frank Howard, and the stadium also hosts large concerts.

Parking

Football lots open at 6 a.m. for kickoffs before 3:30 p.m. and at 8 a.m. for 3:30 p.m. or later; placards required for reserved lots (assigned by IPTAY membership level); single-game parking passes sold online; towing begins at midnight the night before. ADA lot off Hwy 93 on Calhoun Drive near Tillman Hall and Sikes Hall, with ADA bus shuttles to Gate 1. Prices not shown on pages read.

Bag Policy

Clear bags not exceeding 12 x 6 x 12, one-gallon clear freezer bags, or small clutches no larger than 4.5 x 6.5; medical exceptions after screening. Backpacks, non-clear bags, coolers and umbrellas prohibited.
