What We Could Not Confirm

Not confirmed: we looked for these on official pages and did not find them. Check with the town or operator before you rely on them.

  • 'Lesser-visited' is not confirmed: no official visitation figures by park were found. Parks were chosen as smaller/less-promoted parks; the page should not claim they are the least visited.
  • Colleton State Park was not repeated here.
  • Region labels are the guide's own grouping; SC State Parks labels Cheraw as Midlands and some others differently.
  • Park manager names on park pages were left out (private individuals).
  • Musgrove Mill visitor center hours on the page conflict (Thurs.-Mon. 10-4 and Sat.-Sun. 10-5); both shown.
